Hlib, a first-grader at a school for visually impaired children in Kyiv, faces additional challenges due to motor skill difficulties. Despite the hardships of war, he remains curious and determined. When he discovered the robotics club, it quickly became his favorite place.
The impact has been extraordinary. Hlib’s math skills have improved noticeably, and the hands-on tasks have significantly developed his motor abilities—essential for his growth. Robotics has become a source of joy and confidence, giving him hope for a future where his potential knows no bounds.
Finding Focus Through Creativity
Ilya, a boy with autism, struggles with sensory overload and wears headphones to stay comfortable in noisy environments. Yet, his love for robotics is unwavering.
Despite his struggles with abstract concepts, Ilya’s love for robotics shines. He eagerly anticipates each class, often asking his parents, “When is the next session?”
Since joining the club, Ilya has shown incredible focus and creativity. Robotics provides him a safe space to learn, grow, and dream, helping him overcome challenges and build confidence for the future.
